Membership Terms & Conditions and Community Rules
1. Who Operates Legacy
SSJ Diamonds Legacy (“Legacy”) is operated by SSJ DIAMONDS LTD, a private limited company incorporated in England and Wales with company number 14562617 and registered office at:
Office 254A, Unit 5
399–405 Oxford Street
London
W1C 2BU
(“we”, “us”, “our”).
2. Nature and Purpose of Legacy
SSJ Diamonds Legacy is a relationship-led international community for remarkable women, built around meaningful relationships, thoughtful introductions, genuine connection, shared experience and selected opportunities.
Legacy provides the membership services described in these Terms with reasonable care and skill. However, membership does not guarantee any specific commercial, financial, professional or personal outcome.
Legacy is not responsible for any indirect or consequential losses which may arise. Our liability is limited to the annual membership fee paid by the Member. We do not limit or exclude any liability which cannot be excluded by the applicable law.
3. Membership Levels
3.1 Legacy Community – Complimentary
The complimentary Legacy Community is for women who wish to stay connected to the wider Legacy world without the deeper personalised service available to paid Founding Members.
The complimentary Community may include:
Selected Legacy updates, communications and editorial content.
Selected open conversations, online sessions and community gatherings.
Selected opportunities, collaborations and announcements.
Member stories and relevant community content.
The opportunity to apply for paid membership in the future.
Occasional introductions where naturally appropriate and at Legacy’s discretion; this is not a personalised matching service.
The complimentary Community does not include:
A personalised onboarding programme.
A dedicated curated member profile used for ongoing matching.
A guaranteed or dedicated introduction service.
Scheduled personal check-ins or a six-month review.
Automatic access to private paid-member gatherings or paid-member conversations.
Priority consideration for opportunities reserved for paid members.
3.2 Founding Membership – £600 per year
Founding Membership is a paid membership for a fixed 12-month term from the membership start date. It is designed for women who want a more personal, curated and ongoing relationship with Legacy.
Founding Membership currently includes:
*A personal onboarding conversation with the Founder or a nominated Legacy representative.
An individual Legacy profile recording the member’s journey, interests, priorities, needs and what she may offer others.
Ongoing relationship curation and active consideration throughout the membership year.
Thoughtful introductions where genuine alignment exists; no fixed number of introductions is guaranteed.
A personal six-month review or equivalent membership review.
An annual renewal conversation before a further term is agreed.
Access to selected private Legacy member conversations.
Priority invitations to selected Legacy gatherings, experiences and opportunities.
Priority consideration for relevant collaborations, introductions and opportunities.
Selected member visibility, interviews, spotlights or speaking opportunities where appropriate and at Legacy’s discretion.
Recognition as a Founding Member during the founding phase of Legacy.
Founding Membership is not a directory, lead-generation service, agency, brokerage service or guarantee of business. Legacy is built around quality of relationship and genuine alignment rather than volume.
4. Fees, VAT and Payment
Founding Membership is £600 for a fixed 12-month term.
Members may pay either:
* £600 in one annual payment, or
* £50 per month for 12 months.
Where monthly payments are chosen, this is a payment plan for the full 12-month membership fee and does not create a monthly or cancel-anytime membership.
The member remains responsible for the full 12-month membership fee, subject to applicable cancellation rights and statutory rights.
Legacy is not currently charging VAT. If VAT becomes legally applicable in the future, the applicable price and VAT treatment will be communicated before any new or renewed membership is agreed.
The membership start date will be confirmed in the payment confirmation or welcome communication.
5. Membership Term and Renewal
Paid Founding Membership lasts for 12 months from the membership start date.
Membership does not renew automatically.
A further term begins only after the member positively agrees to renew and pays the applicable renewal fee.
6. Cancellation, Cooling-Off and Refunds
6.1 14-Day Consumer Cooling-Off Period
Where UK consumer cancellation law applies to a distance or online membership purchase, the member has a 14-day cancellation period from the date the service contract is entered into. The member does not need to give a reason.
To cancel during that period, the member must make a clear statement of cancellation by email or another method notified by Legacy.
If the member expressly asks Legacy to begin providing membership services during the 14-day cancellation period and later cancels within that period, Legacy may, where permitted by law, deduct a proportionate amount for services already supplied before cancellation.
Nothing in these Terms limits statutory cancellation or refund rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
6.2 After the 14-Day Period
After the applicable 14-day cooling-off period has expired, the annual membership fee is non-refundable where the member simply changes her mind, chooses not to participate, does not attend activities, or elects to leave before the end of the 12-month term.
This does not affect statutory rights where Legacy materially fails to provide the contracted membership services, provides them without reasonable care and skill, or where another remedy is required by applicable law.
6.3 Termination for Misconduct
Where Legacy terminates membership because of serious or repeated misconduct, misuse of the community, harassment, discrimination, fraud, unlawful activity, misuse of confidential information, aggressive or unsolicited selling, misrepresentation, or another serious breach of these Terms or the Community Rules, no refund will normally be payable, subject always to applicable law.
Where a member’s conduct causes loss, damage or legal exposure to Legacy or another party, Legacy reserves the right to pursue remedies available under law, including recovery of losses or damages where legally appropriate.
7. Events, Gatherings and Travel
Selected premium dinners, retreats, international events and other experiences may be offered at an additional cost.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, venue charges, food and beverage, travel, accommodation, visas, insurance and personal expenses are not included in the annual membership fee.
Attendance at events and experiences is optional unless expressly stated otherwise.
Event-specific booking, cancellation and media terms may apply and will be communicated separately.
8. Community Rules and Engagement
These rules apply to both complimentary Community Members and paid Founding Members. Legacy is built on trust, respect, discretion, contribution and genuine connection.
8.1 Respect and Courtesy
Members must communicate respectfully and professionally. Harassment, bullying, discrimination, intimidation, threatening conduct or abusive behaviour will not be accepted.
8.2 Confidentiality and Discretion
Personal stories, private conversations, member profiles and sensitive business information shared in private Legacy settings must be treated with discretion and must not be shared outside the community without permission, unless disclosure is required by law.
8.3 No Aggressive or Unsolicited Selling
Legacy is not a cold-sales database.
Members must not mass-message, spam, repeatedly solicit or pressure other members into purchases, recruitment, investment or other commercial activity.
Genuine one-to-one business conversations are welcome where there is mutual interest.
8.4 Thoughtful Participation
Members are encouraged to contribute ideas, experience, support and introductions where appropriate.
Participation should be genuine rather than purely transactional.
8.5 Introductions Must Be Respected
Receiving an introduction does not create an entitlement to another person’s time, contacts, services, business or confidential information.
Members should approach all introductions professionally and respect a person’s right not to proceed.
8.6 No Misuse of Member Information
Member contact details, profiles and business or personal information obtained through Legacy must not be copied, sold, scraped, distributed, uploaded to external mailing lists or used for unrelated marketing without permission.
8.7 No Misrepresentation
Membership does not authorise a member to state or imply that she represents, works for, is employed by, is an agent of, or has a formal partnership with Legacy or SSJ Diamonds unless written permission has been given.
8.8 Professional Responsibility
Members remain responsible for obtaining appropriate professional advice and carrying out their own checks before entering into any commercial, financial or legal arrangement.
9. Introductions, Connections and Deals
Legacy facilitates introductions and connections only.
Any discussion, negotiation, agreement, transaction, collaboration, contract or commercial relationship that follows an introduction is solely between the people or organisations involved.
Unless separately agreed in writing, Legacy does not act as an agent, broker, negotiator, adviser or representative for either party and is not responsible for negotiating, arranging, documenting or completing any deal or transaction.
Members are responsible for their own due diligence, professional advice, negotiations, contracts, payments, regulatory obligations and decisions arising from any introduction.
Legacy does not guarantee that an introduction will result in a meeting, business relationship, sale, client, investment, collaboration, contract, friendship or any other outcome.
Plain-English principle: We make thoughtful introductions. What happens after the introduction is up to the people involved.
10. Suspension, Restriction or Removal
Legacy may issue a warning, restrict access, suspend participation or terminate membership where a member seriously or repeatedly breaches these Terms, the Community Rules or applicable law, or behaves in a way that is reasonably considered harmful to members, the community, the Founder, staff, guests, partners or the legitimate reputation and interests of Legacy.
Where appropriate, Legacy may raise concerns with the member and give a reasonable opportunity to respond.
Immediate suspension or termination may occur where conduct is sufficiently serious or urgent action is reasonably required to protect the community.
Refund consequences following termination are governed by Section 6 and applicable law.
11. Privacy and Member Data
Legacy may collect and use member data to administer membership, maintain member profiles, communicate with members, identify potentially relevant connections or opportunities, operate events and deliver the community experience.
Personal data will be handled in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy and data-protection law.
12. Photography, Recording and Media
Where photography, filming or recording is planned at a Legacy event, attendees will be notified and given a reasonable way to raise concerns or opt out where appropriate.
Private membership calls will not be recorded without appropriate notice and permission.
13. Intellectual Property
The SSJ Diamonds Legacy name, branding, website content, written materials, event concepts, graphics and associated intellectual property belong to SSJ DIAMONDS LTD or its licensors and may not be reproduced, represented or commercially used without prior written consent.
14. Changes to Membership or These Terms
Legacy may make reasonable changes to the structure, format or benefits of membership as the community develops.
Material changes affecting a paid member’s rights or obligations will be communicated appropriately and implemented fairly and transparently.
